Totally enthralled and envious of Cheryl Crawford‘s talent just discovered on Pinterest.
Wish I could collect all of these magnificently detailed and technically clever art pieces:

Great news for WA film making and makers!
Production begins today in Western Australia on the feature film Three Summers, the new ensemble romantic comedy written and directed by Ben Elton.
The first Australian feature film from the internationally renowned writer, director and comedian, Three Summers is a spirited take on the annual festival goers at a regional music festival over three consecutive years. Embracing the diversity of this typically Australian community as it gathers together in a music tent, the film fuses romance and music with Elton’s trademark wit and satirical edge.
Actor Robert Sheehan (Misfits, Red Riding Trilogy) is confirmed to star alongside Rebecca Breeds (TV’s Pretty Little Liars, Home and Away); they join a diverse Australian cast of some of the country’s most talented and beloved screen performers including John Waters (TV’s Offspring), Magda Szubanski (Happy Feet, Babe) and Michael Caton (Last Cab to Darwin, The…

A girl after my own heart…
I started at the end of this poem
and I’m working my way up
but, isn’t that how it goes
for lovers of language,
for dreamers like us?
I cannot stand being in the middle
sitting on the fence like a raven
waiting, waiting
for someone to make the next move.
There is no resentment in this heart,
just a lack of understanding,
a need for reasoning
because that’s just how my mind works,
and then there is you.
You come along with kind words
and contentment
and shoo away any angst
with a wand; blessings of peace
for the sentimental to savor.
My shoulders fall like wings
and I cannot even remember
what all the to-do was about
anymore.
Then, here we go,
Sway and hum, catch a firefly
on our way to the moon,
some nights, we shimmer,
others, shiver, out in the cold,
but always with a…

Despite ongoing speculation as to who might replace the actor, Sony have reportedly tried to secure Craig’s services for a further couple of movies.”

Wish we’d gone there when I was living in Midleton, Co Cork.
I haven’t taken part in this challenge for a long time, but found an interesting picture for this one. During the summer days we visited the West Cork Model Railway Village in Clonakilty, Co Cork. This was such a fun place, not only for kids and train enthusiasts, but for the whole family.
Their website describes the village as a fully scaled handmade model of the old West Cork Railway Line with fully working trains and the towns that the railway served , Clonakilty, Kinsale, Dunmanway and Bandon.
Each model is a replica of the town as it was back in the 1940’s and it’s a great way to make local history real for all ages.
There is also a museum, and this old machine was one of the attractions – it looks like its making eye contact with me…like an alien from another time sending me a message!
