Roundabout Kinsale
A cloud of blackbirds wheel in
evening skies above Kinsale’s
signalized roundabout.
They mimic corporate ravens who
patiently sit in warmed metal,
turning similar circles below.

We have many roundabouts in my area. I HATE them. What’s wrong with using traffic lights like in the old days?

Please foirgive the sketch. It doesn’t show how frustrating it was to wait for traffic lights at every entry and making sure you got into the correct lane to get out again or you just went around and around and around – like the birds flying above. 🙂

Hmm, sounds like driving in Boston. Once you get on Storrow Drive, you go ’round and ’round, and you can’t get off.
