The e-book was delivered to my computer 5 minutes after midnight on the 2nd… and soon I’ll have a hard copy in my hands. Can’t wait to read every word as knowing Louise – it will be a wonderful story.

We gave this beautifully illustrated pop-up book by a very talented West Australian artist, Gabriel Evans, to my gorgeous little grandson, Bodhi for Christmas.
I also made him some mice to play with…

Wow! Hats off to this Perth filmmaker Jordan Prince-Wright . 21 years old with an amazing list of film achievements since 13 – and he’s just debuted his first feature!
The more I read about him, the more I want to see anything he’s made. I’m not into cowboy movies, but would LOVE to see this although I suspect it will be a while…
He’s going to be picked up by the big international distributors after winning many awards, first!
Love that he kept it all at home showcasing Western Australia, supported by it’s wonderful country communities.
QUOTE: “As for the actors, a stellar cast of Perth-based professionals put up their hands then spent their weekends over five months of last year driving, for up to 15 hours in some cases, to remote outback locations to film in meteorite craters, caves and on cliff tops.
Michael Muntz (A Country Practice) and Ben Mortley (Cloudstreet, MacLeod’s Daughters, Lantana) scored lead roles. Clarence Ryan (Lockie Leonard) and star of Perth theatre, Steve Turner (Caucasian Chalk Circle, John Curtin) jumped on board in supporting roles.” :UNQUOTE

Another excellent posting… thanks.
The War is over.
The Good War.
The Korean War.
That’s enough for any generation to cope with.
Time to settle down.
Go to College or back to the job that’s been waiting for you.
Get Married.
Have a bunch of kids.
Paint the fence.
Mow the lawn.
Wash and polish the car.
Watch Television.
Breathe easy and when the dreams come open the window and stare at the Moon.
It’s good to be alive when so many lie dead in foreign ground.
What more could you want?
Well it seems Junior wants something more.
Something more.
Now, he can’t really put a name to it.
Except it ain’t hearing stories about how grateful he should be.
Grateful he doesn’t have to fight in a war.
Grateful he lives in a land of the free.
Grateful for these fine, fine, times.
He wants a new story to tell.
He doesn’t…
